The Art of Steven Duncan and The Lake House Studio

THE LAKE HOUSE STUDIO was founded in Minneapolis in 2011 and has recently relocated to the Sonoma County wine country. At the studio I specialize in freelance design work for retail products, focusing on giftware, stationery, and home décor artwork. My award-winning and highly successful illustration style is broad and well collected. I am generally sought out by clients for rendering highly realistic maps, ephemera, vintage-style posters, retro-cartoons, and photo-realistic illustrations. Recently I have branched out into the realm of entertainment where my work has been commissioned by HBO for show graphics and Chicago’s Goodman Theater for set design. At the Lake House Studio I have developed two proprietary brands of giftware, stationery, and home décor artwork; The Walkenshaw & England, Co., Outfitters of Paper Curiosities and Assorted Oddities and The Lake House Attic.
